[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Dong-hyun] Some performances of "The Nutcracker," scheduled to be held at the Seoul Arts Center in Seocho-gu, Seoul, from the 14th to the 26th, have been canceled.
The National Ballet Company announced on the 9th, "Due to some members testing positive for COVID-19, all weekday and weekend performances scheduled from the 14th to the 19th will be canceled." Performances from the 21st to the 26th will proceed as planned.
During the "The Nutcracker" performances in Daegu on the 4th and 5th, one member was infected with COVID-19, leading to the cancellation of the Jeonju performances planned for the 10th and 11th. Subsequently, PCR tests were conducted on all National Ballet Company members and related staff, all of whom tested negative.
