Gwangju Police Agency Holds Regular Meeting on "Responsibility for Victim Safety and Recovery"

Park Jeong-bo, head of the investigation department, stated, "Our police are making efforts to strengthen the personal protection of crime victims by utilizing various measures such as smartwatches and temporary accommodations, and we will enhance practical victim recovery and the participation of victims in criminal procedures."
He added, "We will also actively promote policies such as restorative police activities and crime victim assessments," and said, "We ask for support and encouragement regarding the establishment of police officer exemption regulations for active on-site responses to protect crime victims."
