There are criticisms about dividing even students by their political party support.
On the 7th, Democratic Party lawmaker Lee Tan-hee wrote on his Facebook, "I can feel Leader Lee Jun-seok's 'divisive DNA' in every word he says," and criticized, "Politicians who treat politics like a game will never win the hearts of our clear-sighted citizens."
He went on to point out, "Beyond gender division, is he now dividing high school seniors into 'our high school seniors' and 'Democratic Party high school seniors'?"
He added, "I believe that a politician's attitude toward the world and things affects the soul of each and every citizen. Ultimately, that is what changes the world," emphasizing, "Politics is about changing the world."
In response to these remarks by the lawmaker, Leader Lee immediately rebutted. On Facebook, he directly mentioned the lawmaker's name and said, "Why is posting a really great speech video to boost the morale of our high school senior party members considered divisive? If you are confident, you should post the speech of the Democratic Party's high school senior election committee chairwoman to promote her," he jabbed.
He added, "We provide opportunities to participate and compete, while the Democratic Party just gives positions," and said, "Let's see which method the younger generation prefers and considers fair."

The 'Democratic Party high school seniors' mentioned by Leader Lee is interpreted as targeting Nam Jin-hee, a high school senior appointed as co-chair of the Democratic Party's Gwangju regional election committee.
In an interview on a radio broadcast on the 28th of last month, Leader Lee compared Kim and Nam, saying, "When we had a debate battle, 19-year-old Kim Min-gyu participated and made it to the quarterfinals before being eliminated. Kim got the chance and competed, but the person who became the Democratic Party election committee chair was just appointed."
Meanwhile, at the election committee launch ceremony on the 6th, Kim gave a speech with the keyword 'dissonance.' He said, "The footsteps of the People Power Party have always been dissonant. On the journey of the presidential election voyage, our concept must be dissonance," emphasizing, "We have set a 30-something party leader who cannot be understood by Yeouido's rules, and there is a candidate who is loyal to fairness and the rule of law, not to organizations or people like others."
