SBS Labor and Management Reach Final Agreement... Passes Union Delegates' Meeting
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] The SBS labor union's agreement with management, reached ahead of the company's first-ever strike, has passed the union delegates' meeting.
The SBS Headquarters of the National Union of Mediaworkers announced on the 6th, "The final agreement with management was ratified at the union's temporary delegates' meeting."
According to the SBS union, the final agreement was approved at the delegates' meeting held that afternoon with 62 votes in favor and 6 against out of a total of 68 members. With this, the SBS labor and management are left only with the signing of the agreement by representatives from both sides, and the procedure is expected to be completed as early as the following morning.
