IntronBio Receives Presidential Citation on Trade Day
Awarded in Four Categories Including $20 Million Export Tower, Prime Minister's Commendation, and Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Commendation
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyungsoo] IntronBio announced on the 6th that it was simultaneously selected in four categories, including the Presidential Citation, the Prime Minister's Citation, the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Citation, and the $20 million Export Tower, in celebration of the '58th Trade Day.'
The Trade Day awards ceremony is an event hosted by the Korea International Trade Association and organized by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy. It selects and awards companies and individuals who have contributed to pioneering overseas markets and increasing exports.
IntronBio CEO Yoon Kyungwon received the Presidential Citation and the $20 million Export Tower in recognition of his contribution to corporate growth and export increase. In the individual award category, Kim Bomin, head of the division who oversaw overseas export sales, received the Prime Minister's Citation, and Choi Yunhyuk, head of the division who greatly contributed to the development and production of diagnostic products, received the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Citation.
IntronBio DR Business Division Executive Director Seol Jaegu said, "I worked hard with the staff to advance diagnostic products overseas," adding, "Being recognized by the government makes me feel even more motivated to work."
