KOSPI Rollercoaster Flow... Reverses to Rise After Falling Start
[Asia Economy Reporter Ji-hwan Park] On the morning of the 6th, the KOSPI, which had been on a downward trend, successfully turned to an upward trend during the session.
As of 11:12 a.m. that day, the KOSPI recorded 2,972.27, up 4.63 points (0.16%) from the previous trading day. The index started at 2,954.82, down 13.51 points (0.46%) from the previous session. It then dropped to the 2,930 level but gradually reduced the decline and eventually turned to an upward trend.
Currently, foreign investors, who showed a selling preference in the early session, are net buying 9 billion KRW. Individual investors also led the index rise with net purchases of 98.8 billion KRW. On the other hand, institutions net sold 109.7 billion KRW.
At the same time, the KOSDAQ stood at 989.94, down 8.53 points (0.85%) from the previous session. The index started at 990.07, down 8.40 points (0.84%) from the previous session, and continues to decline.
