Assemblyman Jo O-seop Secures 1.5 Billion KRW Special Grant for Expansion of Gwangju Sinan-dong Administrative Welfare Center
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Jo Oseop, a member of the National Assembly (Democratic Party of Korea·Gwangju Buk-gu), announced on the 5th that he secured 1.5 billion KRW in special grants from the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.
Specifically, the funds will be allocated to ▲Expansion of Sinandong Administrative Welfare Center (600 million KRW) ▲Seismic reinforcement in Munhwa-dong (300 million KRW) ▲Sewer culvert in Punghyang-dong (600 million KRW), among others.
Rep. Jo said, "As Gwangju lawmakers united with a one-team spirit and made every effort to secure budgets for regional development, we were able to achieve the largest-ever national funding. I also thank the public officials of Gwangju city and autonomous districts who tirelessly traveled between Gwangju and Seoul to persuade government ministries such as the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport."
