View original image[Sejong=Asia Economy Reporter Son Seon-hee] Prime Minister Kim Boo-kyum completed his third COVID-19 vaccination dose on the morning of the 3rd at the Jongno-gu Public Health Center in Seoul.
At the age of 63, Prime Minister Kim received the third dose after the additional vaccination interval (4 months) had passed since his second dose on July 30.
Immediately after the third dose, Prime Minister Kim stated, "Currently, the most effective weapon against COVID-19 is ultimately the vaccine," adding, "By the end of the year, the elderly must receive the third dose, and adolescents should complete their first and second doses promptly to overcome this crisis."

He particularly recalled that despite a recent cluster infection at a facility for the disabled in Jongno, none of those who had received the third dose were infected, emphasizing, "The third dose is proving to be the best defense for immunocompromised groups." He further appealed for vaccination participation, saying, "Only rapid vaccination is a safe stepping stone toward the recovery of daily life," and "Vaccination is not a choice but a necessity."
