Oasis Market Participates in 'Seongnam-si Happiness Canvas Mural Painting'
[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Oasis Market participated in the 'Seongnam City Happiness Canvas Mural Painting' project to improve school commuting routes in Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi Province.
Oasis Market announced on the 2nd that, together with the Seongnam Industrial Complex Management Corporation and the Seongnam Volunteer Center, they carried out mural painting work over five days on old walls near Donggwang High School and Geomdan Elementary School.
The 'Seongnam City Happiness Canvas Mural Painting' project aimed to create a lively school atmosphere and improve the quality of life for nearby residents by painting bright-colored murals on the previously dull school commuting paths.
The mural work was carried out by artist Ra Gwangbo, who donated his talent, Yoon Subin, CEO of Artbin, and about 50 volunteers. Parents and students also participated.
Local residents said, "Geomdan Elementary School also has an attached kindergarten, so the surrounding dark environment was even more regrettable, but through this mural work, the atmosphere has brightened and the street has been reborn as a place where people want to walk."
