SK Siltron Announces 2022 Executive Appointments and Organizational Restructuring to Strengthen ESG Management
[Asia Economy Reporter Jeong Hyunjin] SK Siltron, a semiconductor wafer manufacturing company, announced on the 2nd that it has implemented executive personnel changes and organizational restructuring for 2022.
SK Siltron appointed two new executives: Park Jeonghoon as Head of Innovation Support and Yang Sanghyun as Head of CS.
Along with its core business area of silicon wafer production, SK Siltron explained that it carried out organizational restructuring to achieve solid and rapid growth in new compound wafer businesses such as silicon carbide (SiC) and gallium nitride (GaN) wafers, and to grow as an eco-friendly manufacturing leader trusted and supported by stakeholders including customers and society through early achievement of 'net zero.'

Additionally, to strengthen a transparent governance system centered on the board of directors, SK Siltron plans to promote changes for practicing ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management, including the establishment of a secretariat for the board of directors.
