View original image[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Cho Hyung-joo] GIST (Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology, President Kim Ki-seon) announced on the 2nd that it successfully held the '2021 Preliminary Startup Package Specialized Field Startup Companies Meeting' on the 1st.
This meeting was conducted as an in-person event with a total of 10 preliminary entrepreneurs participating, following the transition to the With-Corona phase. The agenda included ▲ a recommended system lecture for startups ▲ an explanation of the final inspection conducted after the end of the startup company agreement period on January 31, 2022 ▲ guidance on future business schedules and business execution FAQs, as well as ▲ a communication opportunity among startup companies.
GIST supports and manages the 2021 Preliminary Startup Package specialized field (AI field) project, and on July 8 (Thursday), it held the first meeting online in a non-face-to-face format for a total of 37 preliminary entrepreneurs.
The first meeting mainly shared basic yet important information necessary for the project, such as the project execution system, precautions for each item of commercialization support expenses, and system usage manuals.
Jo Byung-kwan, head of the GIST Startup Promotion Center, stated, "In the With-Corona era, we will strictly manage quarantine measures and frequently organize networking opportunities to strengthen exchanges among entrepreneurs and resolve difficulties in project execution for smooth business progress."
GIST plans to hold the final meeting of this year on the 8th at the Holiday Inn Hotel in Gwangju for preliminary entrepreneurs in the Gwangju and Jeonnam regions.
