Lotte Chilsung Beverage Conducts Participatory ESG Campaign
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] Lotte Chilsung Beverage is conducting an interactive ESG campaign that encourages employee participation.
According to Lotte Chilsung on the 1st, following the Jerry (Proper Recycling) Challenge in October, which involved certifying proper waste separation through photos, the company has now launched the participatory energy-sharing campaign called "Lighting Children."
The "Lighting Children" campaign by the international development cooperation NGO Milal Welfare Foundation is an eco-friendly energy-sharing initiative that sends solar lanterns, assembled by sponsors themselves, to energy-poor countries overseas.
About 90 employees who participated in this campaign received solar lantern assembly kits and assembled them with their families, sharing the importance of energy and donating the lanterns to energy-poor countries.
