[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Air Busan's first overseas tourist route from a regional airport, the 'Busan-Guam' route, has finally resumed operation after breaking through the long tunnel of 'COVID-19'.
Air Busan announced on the 27th that it will resume the Busan-Guam route, which had been suspended due to COVID-19, after 20 months.
Air Busan's Guam flight departs from Gimhae International Airport at 8:05 AM and arrives at the local airport at 1:05 PM.
The return flight departs from the local airport at 3:05 PM and arrives at Gimhae International Airport at 6:30 PM, operating once a week.
The flight time takes 4 hours, and Air Busan's new aircraft, the A321neo, will be deployed.
Passengers on the Guam flight must carry ▲an English certificate of completed vaccination ▲a negative COVID-19 test certificate issued within 72 hours to enter without quarantine.
If passengers possess an English certificate of completed vaccination or prove vaccination completion using the electronic vaccination certificate (COOV) application, they can also use multi-use facilities in Guam.
To be exempt from quarantine upon returning to Korea, travelers must take a COVID-19 PCR test within 72 hours before returning, and the Guam Tourism Authority supports the cost of this test.
