Chairman Kim established a cooperative foundation to activate technology exchange and promote market entry in Europe for SMEs in advanced technology fields such as renewable energy and eco-friendly future mobility, collaborating with local public and private organizations including Hessen Trade & Invest (HTAI), Steinbeis Foundation, and P3 Group.
First, SBC signed a business agreement with Hessen Trade & Invest to support the entry of promising domestic SMEs engaged in advanced industries in the eco-friendly sector into Europe. Hessen Trade & Invest is a public institution under the government of the state of Hessen, located at the center of Germany and Europe. It is responsible not only for promoting regional trade and investment but also for fostering technological innovation and entrepreneurship within the region.
SBC also signed an agreement with the Steinbeis Foundation, which leads technology trade in Germany, a global manufacturing powerhouse. Since 2022, both parties have agreed to develop practical collaboration models to activate technology exchange between SMEs in the renewable energy and future mobility sectors of both countries. SBC plans to actively utilize Steinbeis’s network to support technology exchange between promising domestic eco-friendly SMEs and leading German green technology companies.

Chairman Kim said, "In the past, we were able to develop the domestic economy by using industrial technologies introduced from developed countries as stepping stones, but now we can envision an eco-friendly future together with Germany, which leads green technology. SBC will build a cooperative foundation and expand policy support so that domestic companies active in new industries can successfully enter the European market."
