[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] The Special Committee on Ultra-Wide Cooperation of Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam Provincial Councils held its 4th meeting on the 25th and adopted the "Joint Resolution for Mutual Cooperation of Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam Provincial Councils."
The resolution includes efforts to ensure the early establishment of the Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam Special Local Government, participation in cooperation beyond regions and political parties, and recommendations to the central government for active support such as establishing legal grounds, system improvements, and bold delegation of authority.
Song Oh-seong, chairman of the special committee, stated, "We will successfully launch the Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam Special Local Government and ensure that the three city and provincial councils cooperate with each other and actively participate in joint responses to regional issues so that it can fulfill its role after the launch."

The resolution will be submitted to government-related departments such as the Blue House, the National Assembly, and the Ministry of the Interior and Safety after being approved by the plenary session. The Busan City Council approved it through a plenary session on the 22nd, and the Ulsan City Council also plans to approve it in turn.
