LG Innotek Executive Personnel Changes... Moon Hyuk-su Promoted to Vice President
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunjin Jung] LG Innotek announced on the 25th that it held a board meeting and carried out the regular executive personnel appointments for 2022, promoting a total of 9 executives including 1 Vice President, 1 Senior Executive Vice President, and 7 Executive Directors.
LG Innotek explained that this executive personnel appointment was based on the principle of performance-oriented personnel management, comprehensively considering business performance, capabilities to lead future businesses, and growth potential.
Moon Hyuksoo, Senior Executive Vice President and Head of the Optical Solutions Division, was promoted to Vice President in recognition of his contribution to solidifying the 'global number one position' in the camera module and 3D sensing module businesses and driving business growth. Along with this, Kim Kisoo, Executive Director in charge of HR at LG Energy Solution, was appointed as CHO and promoted to Senior Executive Vice President.
Additionally, Sung Kicheol, who secured competitive production capabilities for 3D sensing modules through manufacturing intelligence and expansion of unmanned processes; Lee Kwangtae, who improved semiconductor substrate sales and profitability through maximizing productivity and phased expansion investments; and Lee Sejin, who led the expansion of camera module performance by securing industry-leading development capabilities and timely new product development, were newly appointed as Executive Directors.
Furthermore, Kim Minjun, who promoted the refinement of performance management systems and execution and inspection of future preparation tasks; Park Dongwook, who led mid- to long-term business strategy formulation and business portfolio advancement; Shin Jeonggon, who improved and stabilized financial structure by proactively responding to changes in the business environment; and Lee Donghoon, who led stable labor-management relations, were newly appointed as Executive Directors.
Yoo Byungguk, Executive Director in charge of VS Smart Sales/Marketing at LG Electronics, was assigned as Head of the Vehicle Components Division.
