TIPA to Hold 'Industry-Academia-Research Matching Day' for 3 Days Starting from the 29th
[Asia Economy Reporter Junhyung Lee] The Korea Technology and Information Promotion Agency for SMEs (TIPA) announced on the 24th that it will hold the 'Industry-Academia-Research Matching Day' to promote collaboration among industry, academia, and research institutes from the 29th of this month to the 1st of next month at Hotel Intercity in Daejeon.
The Industry-Academia-Research Matching Day was planned to strengthen the research and development (R&D) capabilities of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and to activate joint research among industry, academia, and research institutes. During the event, technology matching consultations and technology seminars will be held according to different fields. Five industry-academia cooperation hub universities designated by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups (Kumoh National Institute of Technology, Jeonbuk National University, Changwon National University, Korea University of Technology and Education, and Hanbat National University) and five leading research institutions supporting SMEs (Korea Institute of Industrial Technology, Korea Institute of Energy Research, Korea Automotive Technology Institute, Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute, and Korea Institute of Materials Science) will participate. The hub universities and research institutions will conduct technology consultations for SMEs and seminars on future promising technologies.
