Lee Dong-jae's Side Files Complaint Against Choi Kang-wook and Hwang Hee-seok for 'Continuous Dissemination of False Information'
[Asia Economy Reporter Jeong Dong-hoon] The side of former Channel A reporter Dong-jae Lee has filed a lawsuit against Choi Kang-wook, leader of the Open Democratic Party, and Hwang Hee-seok, Supreme Council member, on charges of spreading false information about Lee.
Lee's legal representative stated in a press release on the 24th, "We have submitted an additional complaint to the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency requesting a strict investigation and punishment of Assemblyman Choi Kang-wook and Supreme Council member Hwang Hee-seok," adding, "We have also submitted additional materials to the Criminal Division 1 of the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office regarding the ongoing criminal trial of Assemblyman Choi Kang-wook."

Lee's side claimed that despite the ongoing criminal trial, Assemblyman Choi continues to make harsh criticisms against Lee. They also revealed, "We have received reports that Supreme Council member Hwang Hee-seok appeared on the YouTube channel Jeong Bong-ju TV and made false statements about Lee."
