Korea Industrial Federation "Future Mobility Industry Forum Held at KINTEX"
[Asia Economy Reporter Changhwan Lee] The Korea Industrial Alliance Forum (KIAF) and the Korea Automobile Industry Association (KAIA) announced on the 24th that they will hold the 14th Industrial Development Forum and the 20th Automobile Industry Development Forum under the theme "Future Mobility Industry Development Prospects and Our Tasks" over two days on the 29th and 30th at KINTEX in Goyang.
On the first day of the forum (29th), held in conjunction with the Seoul Mobility Show, the sub-theme will be "Policy Tasks and Suggestions for the Development of the Future Mobility Industry." Chairman Jongwook Lee of the Mobility Society is scheduled to deliver a keynote speech on "Technological Evolution of the Mobility Industry and Structural Problems of the System."
Chairman Youngryeol Park of the Korean Academy of Management will preside over a discussion on the mobility industry with Professor Daesik Heo of Yonsei University, Research Fellow Kyuok Kim of the Korea Transport Institute, Researcher Minje Cho of the Police University Institute of Security Policy, and former lawyer Jeongil Choi of the Ministry of Government Legislation.
On the second day (30th), under the sub-theme "Future Mobility Development Prospects and Directions," Director Changjeon Hwang of the Korea Aerospace Research Institute will present on "Overview and Commercialization Issues of Urban Air Mobility (UAM)," Senior Researcher Dongyeop Kim of the Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute will discuss "Logistics Using Robots and Activation Plans for Non-Road Transport," and Center Director Nakhyun Kwon of H2KOREA will speak on "Activation Plans for Electric-Powered Vehicles."
