Hyundai Motor Recruits for 'H-Mobility Class' to Train Talent for Future Vehicles
[Asia Economy Reporter Changhwan Lee] Hyundai Motor Company announced on the 24th that it is recruiting participants for the ‘H-Mobility Class’ targeting domestic science and engineering university (graduate) students to support strengthening national competitiveness in vehicle electrification and autonomous driving fields.
The H-Mobility Class is a specialized education program that provides an opportunity to learn core technologies in future automotive fields such as vehicle electrification and autonomous driving.
Starting with 500 participants in the first batch of the vehicle electrification field in July last year, Hyundai selected a total of 1,350 participants including 500 in the second batch of vehicle electrification in June this year and 350 in the first batch of autonomous driving.
Through this recruitment, Hyundai plans to select 700 science and engineering university (graduate) students as participants for the first half of 2022, with 350 in the vehicle electrification field and 350 in the autonomous driving field.
Hyundai provides free online lectures to the selected trainees to learn specialized knowledge in vehicle electrification and autonomous driving fields. Trainees will receive professional education in areas such as batteries and motors for vehicle electrification, and control and networks for autonomous driving, according to their recruitment fields.
Trainees who complete the basic course and pass the evaluation in this education program will be awarded a ‘Job Competency Certificate’ issued by Hyundai Motor Company and Hyundai NGV. Additionally, among those who complete the basic course and take the advanced course, outstanding learners will be exempted from the document screening process when applying for recruitment at Hyundai Motor’s R&D headquarters in the future.
