Ottogi, Jeju Dameum Launches 'Jeju Black Pork Curry & Hallabong Marmalade'
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] Ottogi announced on the 23rd that it has launched two new products under the ‘Jeju Dameum’ brand, including Jeju Black Pork Curry and Hallabong Marmalade, made using raw materials from Jeju. ‘Jeju Dameum,’ which conveys the unique characteristics of Jeju, was created with the purpose of offering consumers a special gourmet experience by turning ingredients supplied from local farms into products, while also helping to promote the consumption of agricultural products.
The ‘Jeju Black Pork Curry’ contains large chunks of Jeju black pork, potatoes, and carrots to enhance texture, and includes Jeju Onju citrus and citrus concentrate. Roasted onions and butter roux were also added for a deep flavor. This product is released in a pouch form with 25% more content compared to existing curries.

The ‘Jeju Hallabong Marmalade’ is a jam made only with seasonal Jeju citrus, Hallabong, and Hagyu. To commemorate the launch, a gift box consisting of the two new products, recipe cards, specially designed packaging, and a shopping bag will also be sold in limited quantities.
