According to Gwangju Metropolitan City on the 22nd, 57 people were confirmed positive for COVID-19 in one day yesterday.
Among them, 25 were confirmed cases related to educational institutions. Specifically, 10 cases are related to a daycare center in Buk-gu, 7 cases to a kindergarten in Seo-gu, 6 cases to a middle school in Gwangsan-gu, and 2 cases to an elementary school in Gwangsan-gu.
Regarding the daycare center in Buk-gu, a total of 19 people have been confirmed positive so far, and 41 people have been confirmed positive related to the middle school in Gwangsan-gu.
The spread continues in public bathhouses, which are multi-use facilities.
Eleven people were confirmed positive related to two bathhouses. So far, 15 and 22 confirmed cases have been reported respectively.
