Agreement to Revitalize Permanent Rental Housing Communities... Promoting Community Formation Projects Using Community Centers as Hubs
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yukbong] Buk-gu, Gwangju City (District Mayor Moon In) announced on the 21st that it will sign a "Business Agreement for the Revitalization of Permanent Rental Housing Communities" with the Housing Management Corporation (President Seo Jonggyun) on the 23rd to improve the quality of life of residents in permanent rental housing.
According to the agreement, Buk-gu will establish community project plans within permanent rental housing and provide budget and administrative support, while the Housing Management Corporation will jointly promote community projects and support linked projects with the Residential Happiness Support Center (formerly the district management office) and the My Home Center.
Earlier, in August, Buk-gu opened a community center in Duam Jugong Complex 4 and has been promoting neighbor care worker training activities.
Additionally, together with the Housing Management Corporation, they have carried out projects such as ▲ Visiting Balcony Concerts ▲ Creating Healing Flower Gardens for Home Gardening ▲ and Flower Story Exhibitions targeting five permanent rental complexes in the region.
The two organizations plan to establish a sustainable cooperative system, create two additional community facilities next year, and promote various cultural programs to foster community formation.
