Biden Celebrates First Birthday Since Inauguration Quietly at Home
[Asia Economy Reporter Cho Hyun-ui] U.S. President Joe Biden celebrated his first birthday since taking office on the 20th (local time).
Having received the gift of the House of Representatives passing the long-awaited social welfare budget bill the day before, President Biden spent his 79th birthday at his home in Wilmington, Delaware, with his wife, Jill.
He made no special mention of his birthday on his Twitter but focused on promoting the passage of the infrastructure budget, highlighting that investments in bridges, dams, and power facilities have become possible.
The Wilmington residence is where President Biden and his wife usually spend their weekends. CNN reported, "Compared to previous presidents, he spends weekends outside the White House at an overwhelmingly higher frequency since taking office."
