President to Hold 'Direct Dialogue' with the People for the First Time in 2 Years
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] President Moon Jae-in will appear on KBS's '2021 Dialogue with the People' on the evening of the 21st.
This dialogue is the first in two years since the 2019 Dialogue with the People, organized to provide a communication platform with citizens weary from the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic since last year.
Three hundred citizen panelists, selected by KBS considering gender, age, and region, will participate as questioners, and the Deputy Prime Minister for Economy, the Minister of Health and Welfare, as well as other ministers related to the livelihood economy and the Director of the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency will appear either on-site or via video conference.
The program will cover three subtopics: a three-week assessment of daily life recovery and measures to respond to the increase in confirmed cases, the livelihood economy, and post-COVID-19 challenges. It will feature various spontaneous questions from the citizen panelists and questions from the general public submitted through KBS's website.
