'Eternals' Reclaims Box Office No.1, Surpassing 'Jangreman Romance'
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Isul] The Marvel movie 'Eternals' has reclaimed the number one spot at the box office.
According to the Korea Film Council's integrated box office data on the 19th, 'Eternals' attracted 45,293 viewers on the 18th, securing the top position at the box office, with a cumulative audience of 2,625,918.
The movie 'Jangreuman Romance' (Director Jo Eunji), which started as number one on the 18th, ranked second with 41,410 viewers.
Released on the 3rd, 'Eternals' had consistently held the top spot but gave way to 'Jangreuman Romance,' released on the 17th, only to regain it after one day. Attention is focused on which movie audiences will choose during the opening weekend.
Denis Villeneuve's sci-fi film 'Dune' attracted 14,775 viewers, placing third. Additionally, 'BanG Dream! Film Live Second Stage' entered the top 10 at eighth place.
