Grandmother Carrying Waste Crosses Road Midway... Suddenly Appears a 'Hero Rider'
[Asia Economy Reporter Na Ye-eun] A dangerous situation occurred when an elderly woman carrying recyclables was unable to move in the middle of the road, and a motorbike rider safely guided her to the sidewalk. The rider's actions were recently revealed.
On the 16th, a video titled "There really are motorbike riders like this in the world. The actions of a motorbike rider who saw an elderly woman standing on the road and rushed to her aid" was uploaded to the YouTube channel 'Han Moon-cheol TV.'
According to the video, around noon on the 15th, an elderly woman was standing on a road in Hwikyung-dong, Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul, pushing a stroller loaded with recyclables. The informant, Mr. A, explained, "The elderly woman standing in the middle of the road with a bus-only lane looked extremely dangerous," and added, "At that moment, the rider stopped beside her and gestured for her to come out quickly."
He continued, "It was a very dangerous situation, but I want to praise the wonderful motorbike rider who approached directly and helped through his actions."
In the video released by Mr. A, buses and other vehicles were passing near the elderly woman. At that moment, a rider hurriedly parked his motorbike by the roadside and ran to the elderly woman. He then asked for understanding from the surrounding vehicles and helped her pull the cart safely across the road.
While the rider was assisting the elderly woman, other vehicles turned on their hazard lights and stopped to wait.
Attorney Han Moon-cheol said, "I really want to praise this rider," adding, "Because of some reckless riders, the overall image of motorbike riders tends to be negative, but watching this video will completely erase the bad image of riders."
