This campaign was organized to enhance fire trucks' accessibility to disaster sites by fostering consensus on the necessity of securing fire truck routes and familiarizing new drivers, composed of first- and second-year students of Seoyoung University Korea 119 Youth Corps, with the etiquette of yielding to fire trucks.
In the Unam Market area, fire officials and volunteer firefighters conducted ▲a street campaign for yielding to fire trucks, ▲a fire truck parade to build public consensus on yielding to fire trucks, ▲a nationwide campaign to equip households with fire safety facilities (fire extinguishers, residential fire alarms), and ▲a campaign to eradicate illegal parking around fire facilities.
Jo Jong-hoon, Head of the 119 Disaster Response Division, expressed gratitude, saying, "We thank the Korea 119 Youth Corps of Seoyoung University for actively participating in the campaign," and added, "Please remember that yielding to fire trucks is a way to save precious lives."
