[Weather] Tomorrow 'Warm'... Fine Dust 'Bad' in 수도권, Chungcheong, Gyeongbuk
[Asia Economy Reporter Koo Eun-mo] On Friday the 19th, the central region will have mostly cloudy skies in the morning, clearing up during the day, while the southern region will be mostly clear.
The morning low temperatures are expected to rise slightly compared to the 18th (ranging from -0.9°C to 10°C), with forecasts between 2°C and 13°C.
The Korea Meteorological Administration explained, "On the 19th, most areas nationwide are expected to have morning temperatures between 5°C and 10°C, but the southern inland areas may see morning temperatures drop below 5°C."
Expected morning low temperatures in major cities are 11°C in Seoul, 13°C in Incheon, 8°C in Daejeon, 5°C in Daegu, 6°C in Gwangju and Ulsan, and 9°C in Busan.
Between dawn and morning on the 19th, dense fog may form mainly in Jeolla, southern Gyeongbuk, central and western inland Gyeongnam regions, reducing visibility to less than 200 meters.
Daytime high temperatures are forecast to rise to between 15°C and 20°C. The highest temperatures are expected to be 17°C in Seoul, 16°C in Incheon, 18°C in Daejeon and Gwangju, and 19°C in Daegu, Ulsan, and Busan.
Strong winds with speeds of 35 to 60 km/h will blow in the Gangwon mountain areas until the morning.
Fine dust levels are expected to be 'bad' in the Seoul metropolitan area, Gangwon Yeongseo, Chungcheong, Daegu, and Gyeongbuk, while other regions will have 'normal' levels.
