Prosecutors Dismiss Charges Against Singer Kim Gun-mo Over Sexual Assault Allegations
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyung-min] Singer Kim Gun-mo, who was suspected of sexually assaulting a female employee at an entertainment establishment, has been cleared of charges by the prosecution.
The Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office's Women and Children Crime Investigation Division (Chief Prosecutor Kim Won-ho) decided on the 18th to dismiss the charges against Kim after a resolution by the Prosecutorial Citizens' Committee.

Kim was suspected of sexually assaulting a former entertainment establishment employee, Ms. A, at a bar in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, in August 2016. This allegation surfaced through the YouTube channel 'Garosero Research Institute.' Ms. A filed a complaint against Kim in December 2019, and Kim counter-sued her for false accusation. The Gangnam Police Station, which investigated the case, had forwarded Kim to the prosecution with a recommendation for indictment.
