View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] On the 18th, Jojoo-il, mayor of Jinju City, met with Son Woo-jun, head of the Busan Regional Land Management Office, at Jinju City Hall to share and discuss local pending projects.
On this day, Mayor Jo explained local pending projects that can accelerate regional development and increase citizens' happiness index, such as river facility maintenance between Jinju Fortress and Dongbang Hotel, and dredging of sediment in the Namgang River, and requested special interest and support from the Busan Regional Land Management Office.
He also requested interest and support for the opening of national roads to accommodate increasing traffic in preparation for the Western Gyeongnam KTX era and the future 500,000 self-sufficient city.
Mayor Jo Gyu-il said, "Thanks to the active cooperation of the Busan office so far, many projects have been promoted, greatly improving not only the level of urban infrastructure but also the quality of life of citizens," and added, "I ask for the Busan Regional Land Management Office's continued active role and cooperation in major local pending projects."

In response, Head Son Woo-jun said, "We will actively cooperate to ensure that various pending projects for the development of the Jinju area proceed smoothly."
