Geochang-gun, Geumgang Engineering, and A-One Elevator Sign 4 Billion KRW Investment Agreement
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] On the 18th, Geochang-gun, Gyeongnam announced that on the 17th, it signed an investment agreement worth 4 billion KRW with two elevator companies, Geumgang Engineering and A-One Elevator, at the county office situation room.
The signing ceremony was attended by County Governor Goo In-mo and 12 stakeholders from industry, academia, and research related to elevators in Geochang-gun. Geumgang Engineering is a promising company with various technology developments, patents, and certifications such as seismic design elevators, belt-type hoists, and elevator door safety devices. It plans to invest 2 billion KRW by 2023 and employ more than 10 people to manufacture finished elevators.
A-One Elevator is a company possessing technologies in elevator design, parking control systems, wheelchair lift design, and elevator shaft architectural design. It plans to invest 2 billion KRW by 2024 and employ more than 10 people to expand its business from elevator-related design to finished elevator manufacturing and maintenance.
Governor Goo In-mo said in his greeting, "I hope that these two companies realize their grand dreams in the Geochang Elevator Valley and grow into world-class elevator companies. We will do our best to support the successful settlement of these companies."
