Education Superintendent Lee Jae-jung Visits College Entrance Exam Site Early Morning on the 18th to Encourage Staff
[Asia Economy (Dongducheon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] On the early morning of the 18th, Lee Jae-jeong, Superintendent of Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education, visited the Dongducheon Yangju Education Support Office to observe the transfer of the 2022 College Scholastic Ability Test question papers to the district exam sites and encouraged the related personnel.
The Superintendent then moved to Deokhyeon High School in Yangju to personally express his gratitude to the police officers and school staff at the exam site and to cheer on the examinees entering the rooms.
He also encouraged the test supervisors and urged them to ensure that all examinees could complete the exam safely without any unfortunate incidents considered as cheating.
The Superintendent said, "Following last year, we have done our best to prepare for the CSAT this year as well, operating exam sites for confirmed COVID-19 patients and those in self-quarantine," adding, "I am grateful for the sacrifice and hard work of all the staff who strive to ensure that each examinee can take the exam safely and comfortably."

Meanwhile, there are 143,942 examinees in Gyeonggi Province, taking the 2022 College Scholastic Ability Test at 349 exam sites across 19 districts. Among the examinees, confirmed patients will take the exam at three hospital exam sites, and those in self-quarantine will take the exam at 26 separate exam sites.
