Lotte Shopping Achieves Highest Grade in SustainBest ESG Evaluation
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Lotte Shopping announced on the 18th that it received the highest grade, 'AA grade,' in the 2021 second half ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) evaluation announced by Sustainvest.
Sustainvest, along with the Korea Corporate Governance Service and Daishin Economic Research Institute, is one of the major ESG evaluation agencies in Korea, conducting evaluations twice a year and assigning a total of seven grades from AA to E.
Lotte Shopping was the only department store and large mart to receive the AA grade in Sustainvest's first half evaluation, and it received the AA grade again in the second half, being recognized as a company leading ESG activities in the distribution industry.
