According to the Gwangju Regional Meteorological Administration on the 17th, frost was observed at the Gwangju Regional Meteorological Administration observation site at around 7:22 a.m.
The frost observed this day was 12 days later than last year and also 12 days later than the average year.
The Meteorological Administration stated that the first frost was observed due to the cooling of the ground surface overnight, causing the morning temperature to drop significantly, especially inland.
