[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] Hyundai Mobis will participate in the '2021 Seoul Mobility Show' and publicly unveil various innovative technologies related to future mobility, including the M.Vision X.
Hyundai Mobis announced on the 17th that it will participate in the 2021 Seoul Mobility Show, held on the 26th at KINTEX Exhibition Hall 2 in Goyang-si, Gyeonggi Province. The Seoul Mobility Show is a comprehensive exhibition in the mobility sector, featuring automakers, parts suppliers, and mobility companies.
At this exhibition, Hyundai Mobis plans to introduce its future technology philosophy under the theme 'M-Tech GALLERY.' This name carries a double meaning, combining Mobis and Mobility.
Through the exhibition, Hyundai Mobis will publicly showcase the M.Vision X, a four-seater urban shared mobility concept car. The vertical cockpit installed in the center of the vehicle is a square pillar shape with 28-inch displays on each side, recognizing passengers' gestures to enable functions from navigation to music playback.
The next-generation automotive wheel, the 'e-Corner Module,' will also be presented to visitors. The e-Corner Module is a new technology that integrates braking, steering, suspension, and driving systems into a single wheel. Utilizing this, the wheel can rotate up to 90 degrees, allowing the vehicle to move laterally or rotate in place.
