BlueberryNFT, P2E Game 'PixelGround'... "Scheduled for Release in February Next Year"
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] Blueberry NFT announced on the 17th that it will invest in and mutually cooperate with the P2E (Play to Earn) game PixelGround to jointly develop the project.
PixelGround is a game being developed by CEO Kyuseon Kim (formerly the planning team leader of 'God of High School,' which recorded over 1 million downloads and ranked in the top 10 in market sales) and Lee Yonghan, the original developer of the popular game 'Mini Fighter,' which was published by Netmarble and recorded over 10,000 simultaneous connections. The game features a large-scale 40-player survival genre combining the action of Korean-style fighting games with the battle royale genre and is scheduled to be released in February next year.
It is designed with dot animation to evoke the retro arcade game feel. Players can enjoy the game in various modes such as the traditional 1-on-1 mode, 3-on-3 mode similar to King of Fighters, and fighting soccer mode. More diverse play styles, including belt scroll mode and siege mode, will be continuously updated.
P2E is a service designed to reward users with coins by applying an airdrop system to the game. PixelGround’s service will be conducted through Rush Coin Foundation’s affiliated company, which is developing the P2E platform. When players equip NFTs and play the game on the P2E platform, users who win battles will be rewarded with coins.
Blueberry NFT has secured numerous domestic sports IPs and has begun preliminary work for the release of Korea’s first professional sports video non-fungible tokens (NFTs) through its subsidiary Blueberry Meta. With this investment contract, the company plans to expand its NFT business area not only in entertainment and arts but also into gaming.
