Two Middle School Students Confirmed COVID-19 Positive in Gwangju, 'Comprehensive Testing' Conducted

According to Gwangju Metropolitan City as of 2 p.m. on the 16th, 11 people were confirmed positive, classified as cases 5661 to 5671.
Among them, one case is related to a nursing hospital in Seo-gu, two cases are linked to a large workplace in Gwangsan-gu, three cases are connected to confirmed patients from other cities or provinces, and five cases with unknown infection routes were confirmed through symptomatic testing.
Of the five symptomatic tested individuals, two were confirmed as middle school students located in Buk-gu and Gwangsan-gu, leading to a full investigation by school.

With the addition of new confirmed cases on this day, the cumulative number of confirmed cases rose to 67, with a total of 40 cases linked to the large workplace in Gwangsan-gu.
