Police Launch Investigation into Won Hee-ryong's Wife over 'Sociopath' Remark
[Asia Economy Reporter Jeong Dong-hoon] The police have launched an investigation into Kang Yoon-hyung, the spouse of former Jeju Governor Won Hee-ryong, who called Lee Jae-myung, the Democratic Party presidential candidate, a "sociopath."
According to the police on the 16th, the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency assigned the case of Kang's alleged violation of the Public Official Election Act to the Anti-Corruption and Public Crime Investigation Unit of the Seoul Police Agency and began the investigation the day before.
Kang, a psychiatrist, appeared on a YouTube channel on the 20th of last month and stated, "From a psychiatric perspective, Lee is a sociopath, exhibiting antisocial tendencies."
