IBK Industrial Bank donates '1004 blood donation certificates' to Leukemia Children's Foundation
Employees Join the 'Relay of Love Blood Donation Campaign'
[Asia Economy Reporter Jin-ho Kim] IBK Industrial Bank announced on the 16th that it has delivered 1,004 “Love Blood Donation Certificates” collected through voluntary donations by its employees to the Korea Leukemia Children's Foundation.
This blood donation certificate donation was organized to provide some help to pediatric leukemia and cancer patients who are having difficulties receiving transfusions due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic causing unstable blood supply.
Before donating the blood donation certificates, the bank conducted a “Love Relay Blood Donation Campaign” in which all employees of the entire group voluntarily participated. The blood donation campaign accepted pre-registrations from those willing to donate blood to overcome the blood supply shortage caused by COVID-19 and to spread a culture of sharing, allowing all employees of IBK Financial Group companies to participate.
In particular, to prevent COVID-19, the campaign was conducted strictly following quarantine rules such as measuring body temperature before blood collection, wearing masks, hand sanitization, and organizing shifts by time slots to minimize crowding.
