Yongin-si Recruits 120 Participants for Jobs Program for People with Disabilities
[Asia Economy (Yongin) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Yongin City in Gyeonggi Province is recruiting 102 participants for the '2022 Disabled Employment Project' from the 17th to the 24th of this month to expand social participation and increase income for disabled people, a vulnerable group in employment.
The recruitment fields based on working hours are ▲60 full-time positions (5 days a week, 40 hours) ▲42 part-time positions (5 days a week, 20 hours). They will work from January to December next year at eup/myeon/dong administrative welfare centers, non-profit private organizations, and disabled welfare centers as administrative assistants, environmental cleaners, meal assistants, baristas, and more.
Applicants must be unemployed disabled persons aged 18 or older registered under the Disabled Welfare Act, excluding those who have participated in the Disabled Employment Project for more than two consecutive years, those with business registration certificates or unique number certificates, and those enrolled in workplace health insurance.
The application location varies depending on the desired workplace. Refer to the Yongin City website's notices and announcements section or contact the City Hall Disabled Welfare Division. Interviews will be conducted next month.

A city official stated, "We are helping disabled people achieve independence and social advancement through the Disabled Employment Project," and emphasized, "We will continue to strive to ensure that all disabled persons who want to work can have jobs suitable for their disability types."
