View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Minwoo Lee] Koscom and Oracle Korea have joined forces to expand the cloud service market within the financial sector.
On the 15th, Koscom and Oracle Korea announced that they signed a partnership agreement to strengthen their collaboration on joint financial cloud service projects. Accordingly, the two companies plan to promote ▲business and technical cooperation ▲joint marketing to expand cloud usage. Previously, Oracle Korea collaborated on migrating the financial and IT services of Koscom Fund Service, a subsidiary of Koscom, to the financial cloud.
Koscom currently provides services to clients such as Koscom Fund Service by installing Oracle Korea's database (DB)-specialized private cloud product, 'Exadata Cloud at Customer (ExaC@C)', in its own data center. They plan to expand various services in the future.
Hong Wooseon, CEO of Koscom, said, "With this agreement, we can offer customers an integrated cloud application suite based on Oracle DB services optimized for the financial sector. We have high expectations as we can provide services that meet the demands of financial industry clients while minimizing their burdens."
