Daejeon City Recruiting Winter Vacation Part-Time Jobs for University Students... Application Period from 17th to 19th
[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Daejeon City is recruiting university students to work part-time at City Hall and affiliated organizations during the winter vacation.
The city announced on the 15th that applications for university student part-time jobs will be accepted through the city website from the 17th to the 19th.
Any university student residing in Daejeon or enrolled in a university located in the region as of the announcement date (15th) can apply.
A total of 93 people will be recruited. The city plans to select three times the number of candidates in the first round, then review household members, grade, age, eligibility, etc., and announce the final selected candidates on the 20th of next month.
The selected university students will work from January 3 to 27 next year at City Hall, business offices, public corporations, and about 20 other institutions, and will receive a wage of 1.3 million KRW upon full attendance.
Working hours are five days a week, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Park Ji-ho, head of the Youth Policy Division of the city, said, “We hope the winter vacation university student part-time job program will provide some help to students facing psychological and economic difficulties due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic,” and added, “We look forward to active participation from local university students.”
