Hyundai Department Store Duty Free Shop Donates 'Employee Donation Items' to Areumdawoon Gage
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Yuri] Hyundai Department Store Duty Free announced on the 10th that it has donated over 2,300 recyclable items including clothing, accessories, and home appliances collected from its employees to Areumdawoon Store.
The donated items will be sold starting from the 17th at the Areumdawoon Store Yangjae branch in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. The proceeds from the sales will be used through Areumdawoon Store to support the self-reliance of low-income single mothers and aid marginalized groups.
Since 2019, Hyundai Department Store Duty Free has been conducting an "Employee Item Donation Campaign," where recyclable items voluntarily donated by employees are delivered annually to organizations such as Areumdawoon Store. In 2019 and 2020, approximately 1,100 and 1,700 items were donated respectively, showing increasing participation from employees each year.

A Hyundai Department Store Duty Free official said, "Thanks to the active participation of employees, we were able to donate more items than initially expected," adding, "We will continue to carry out various campaigns that can help the local community."
