Gyeongsang National University Hosts 'International Students Unity Festival'
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Gyeongsang National University announced on the 10th that it will hold the 'International Students Unity Festival' on the 11th.
The event is part of the Pioneer·Meolgeuseul Daedongje program and will be held from 2 PM to 4 PM at the Gajwa Campus Grand Stadium.
Only international students enrolled in undergraduate and graduate programs who have completed COVID-19 vaccination can participate.
Earlier, during last summer vacation amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Gyeongsang National University prepared the 'Healing Stay Program (HSP)' during the self-quarantine period after returning home to support the psychological and emotional stability of international students.
In this program, an 'Advanced Korean Language Course (Jumagapyeon)' was conducted for international students who took the basic Korean language course and those wishing to take new courses.
Gyeongsang National University continuously supports vaccination by making proxy reservations for international students and guiding them to vaccination centers. As of the 10th, the vaccination completion rate among all international students reaches 80%.
Currently, Gyeongsang National University has a total of 430 international students, including 261 undergraduates and 169 graduate students.
