Hanmi Semiconductor Opens 'Micro Saw' Showroom in China

[Asia Economy Reporter Junhyung Lee] Semiconductor equipment company Hanmi Semiconductor announced on the 10th that it has opened the ‘Hanmi China Micro SAW showroom’ in Suzhou, China. Hanmi Semiconductor's Micro SAW is equipment used to cut semiconductor packages.
The Hanmi China Micro SAW showroom is located in the Suzhou industrial complex. Suzhou is home to China's three major semiconductor outsourcing companies (OSATs) including JCET (Jiangsu Changjiang Electronics Technology), Huatian Technology, and Nantong Fujitsu, as well as major Taiwanese semiconductor companies such as ASE. Hanmi Semiconductor will showcase the domestically developed semiconductor equipment ‘MS&VP’, which was successfully localized in June this year, at the showroom.

Dongshin Kwak, CEO of Hanmi Semiconductor, said, “The importance of a stable semiconductor supply is continuously increasing in China. In particular, the Suzhou area is a key strategic base in China's semiconductor industry, densely populated with multinational semiconductor companies.” He added, “Local experts from Hanmi China plan to actively conduct sales and promotional activities such as equipment demonstrations using the showroom.”
