Warming the Local Community with Humanities... Gyeongnam Jeongbo University Library's Visiting Parent Humanities Class
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] The library of Gyeongnam Information University held the "Visiting Parents Humanities Class" as a community contribution program on the 9th.
The program is conducted monthly by the Gyeongnam Information University Library and Sasang-gu Healthy Family and Multicultural Family Support Center for parents in Sasang-gu.
The November event was held under the themes of "Understanding Eastern and Western Cultures through Tea (Cha)" and "Healing the Mind through Story Picture Books." About 10 parents from Sasang-gu attended the humanities special lecture.
Kim Jeong-hee, the head librarian of Gyeongnam Information University, said, "We will prepare and hold meaningful special lectures every month with various topics in humanities to play even a small role in creating a warm local community where people can comfort each other."
