GH Obtains Safety and Health Management System Certification for Construction Industry
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation (GH) has obtained the Construction Industry Safety and Health Management System (KOSHA-MS) certification.
On the 10th, GH announced that it recently acquired the Construction Industry Safety and Health Management System certification, a domestic standard certification system for safety and health that adapts the international safety standard ISO45001 to the conditions of South Korea, from the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency.
Since obtaining the construction industry KOSHA18001 certification in 2012, the first among urban corporations nationwide, GH has continuously operated and improved activities such as risk assessments tailored to the characteristics of each construction site, council meetings, safety education, and safety inspections over the past 10 years.
Based on this operational experience, GH newly established the KOSHA-MS system.
