Korea Imported Car Association Hosts '2021 KAIDA Automotive Forum'
[Asia Economy Reporter Changhwan Lee] The Korea Imported Automobile Association announced on the 8th that it will hold the '2021 KAIDA Automotive Forum' at the Millennium Hilton Seoul Hotel on the 16th.
Now in its fourth year, the KAIDA Automotive Forum has highlighted rapidly changing key technological trends and the status of various markets in the domestic and international automotive industries.
This year's forum selected the theme 'Global Electric Vehicle Market and Consumer Trends' in response to the worldwide spread of carbon neutrality trends and the recent surge in domestic consumer interest in electric vehicles.
Based on this, the forum will cover various topics related to electric vehicles, including domestic carbon neutrality policies, domestic and international electric vehicle markets and consumer trends, and charging infrastructure.
Attendees include Lim Hangyu, Vice Chairman of the Korea Imported Automobile Association; Lee Hanggu, Research Fellow at the Korea Automotive Technology Institute; and Peter Doleschi, Director of Mobility and Sustainable Transport at the European Automobile Manufacturers Association.

Vice Chairman Lim said, “We are pleased to resume the KAIDA Automotive Forum, which was postponed due to social instability caused by the COVID-19 pandemic,” adding, “We will continue to make efforts to advance carbon neutrality and the activation of electric vehicles in the domestic automotive industry and market.”
