[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Yuri] Shinsegae Property's premium lifestyle center, The Shops at Centerfield, announced on the 7th that global and premium brands have recently opened stores there one after another.
The Shops at Centerfield stated, "Existing buildings in central Seoul are mostly filled with offices or have underground arcades developed as dining areas for nearby office workers, often separating office and lifestyle spaces. The Shops at Centerfield breaks away from the simple office building concept by delicately reflecting customer preferences with a wide range of F&B stores, top-tier fine dining, global cafes, premium spas, yoga, and golf."
The Shops at Centerfield is showcasing casual F&B (basement level 1), dining & wine (ground floor), and fine dining (second floor), following the opening of Gourmet Street in June.
Chef Allen, who led the Michelin 2-star Impression, and his team have newly opened the French fine dining 'Restaurant Allen' and 'Wine Bar Continuum.' Korea's first-generation high-end Hanwoo omakase specialty restaurant 'Motungiwoo' has opened 'Motungiwoo LAB' at Centerfield.
The fashion lifestyle web magazine 'Hypebeast's cafe 'Hypebeans' also opens its first global cafe. 'Hypebeans Centerfield,' the first outside Hong Kong globally, offers signature drinks such as 'Forest Matcha Latte,' 'White Truffle Cafe Latte,' and 'Lemon Mint Cold Brew.'
At 'Gyeokmulgongbu,' the representative flower & lifestyle shop of Chosun Hotel & Resort, small flower classes with professional florists are held. The wellness complex cultural space 'Aiwa' provides programs such as posture correction and early morning yoga to revitalize office workers' lives.
Amid the recent surge in golf popularity, 'GDR Academy,' equipped with 30 hitting bays for personal golf lessons and practice, and 'AK Golf Prestige,' featuring global golf brands and a fitting space, have also opened.
